Beloved, if you want to be filled with the fullness of God and enjoy the love of God for you, then you must function in the understanding that God loves you unconditionally and irreversibly. The truth is that His love for you can never be revoked, whether you think so or not. So the question is how much of God’s love for you do you understand? Somebody said I found Jesus. No! You didn’t find him! He found you. You are the one lost and He zeroed in on you.

Let us thank God for Nigeria and how far He has brought her in the democratic process. Pray that God will perfect all that concerns her.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT - PASTOR NOMTHI

The Word of God has not changed; it is only what the devil does that changes, and he throws things at you to make you shift your focus to what he does rather than on the Word of God. Ignore the devil and focus on the Word. These were the words of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya as she took the promise for the week at the May 28 Sunday service.

PROSPERING BY DILIGENCE

Today’s scripture: Proverbs 13:4

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing;
But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

It was Martin Luther who said, “The maid who sweeps her kitchen is doing the will of God just as much as the monk who prays, not because she may sing a Christian hymn as she sweeps but because God loves clean floors. The Christian shoemaker does his duty, not by putting little crosses on his shoes, but by making good shoes; because God is interested in good craftsmanship.”

GOD OF INCREASE

Growth and increase are synonymous with God and can only come through unity, as this is where the blessing and increase in the Kingdom is commanded. These were Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s words to the congregation at the May 28 Sunday service as he spoke on the topic: “God of Increase”. Reading from Ephesians 4:7-16 and Psalm 133, Pastor Taiwo spoke extensively on unity in the body of Christ and the importance of prayer.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” (Galatians 3:13 KJV)

 

People who depend on following the law to make them right must do everything that is written in the law. If they do not always obey, they are under a curse. So it is clear that no one can be right with God by the law. The only way a person will find life by the law is to obey its commands (every single one of them). Aren’t you excited about Jesus? He took away the curse. You now have access to the blessing without the law.

HELPERS OF DESTINY

Destiny is one of my favourite words because of it's profound spiritual and physical insight. The world has been shaped and remoulded by destiny.
